The Case of The Last Birthday
Aubri asked me the other day if we have "last birthdays". I told her that I suppose when we die we will have had a last birthday, so, yes, we have a last birthday. She said, "Well, when is my last birthday?" I was thinking, 'where is she going with this?' I told her that I don't know when her last birthday is. She said, "I want my last birthday to be 4." I asked her why 4. She said, "Because I don't want to get shots and I don't want to get married!!!", in a very upset voice. To give you a little background, Aubriawna knows that you have to get shots when you turn 5 to go to school....and she knows that when you get married, you move out. This is her biggest fear, she does NOT want to get shots or get married and move out of her Mommy and Daddy's house. Gotta love her....

Aubri and Bekah begged me to let them get an elephant...just a baby one though- you know, "cause they're smaller and don't make as big of messes or get in as much trouble" I have really smart kids, always thinking.

Bekah probably gets in trouble the least in our family, and should probably be in trouble the most because she is such a tease to the other kids (kind of like her Dad- only he's more experienced and knows when I am watching)...But- she gives me this face every time I go to fuss at her---I am started to desensitize myself to it- but it's really hard

That is too cute. Lauren says that she doesn't want to move out either, although she does want to get married. She also says that she wants to be a grandma but not a mommy, so I'm not sure how she is going to accomplish all that living with me, but we'll see.
