Here's
Kyndal Ann, just along for the ride. So I know my previous post was a little harsh on the insanity of the kids, but all in all, it was a fabulous trip. We really had fun being together as a family. I would do it all over again in a heart beat. In fact, we want to start a tradition of some kind of road trip every summer. Next year the kids want to go to South Carolina to see Uncle Colin and Aunt Bethany. We'll see if they are worthy of our
presence.
Day 1:This trip started out in Santa Clara at a hotel called
Miriani's which had the best breakfast buffet! The kids swam and had the luxury of watching cable TV- (which we don't have). They were in heaven and kept calling every hotel that we stayed at "the apartment". We didn't correct them cause
it was kinda cute.
Day 2:
GrEaT AmErIcA!!

It took a lot of convincing to get Rebekah to get on any of the rides. In fact, all of the other kids had been on 3 or 4 different rides while she just watched. She finally got the hang of it though and enjoyed several of the
kiddy rides. Savannah on the other hand, went on everything she possibly could. After the rides she would say, "It's scary, I like it!"

Ethan and
Aubriawna went on these bumper cars at least 10 times.

This was the "circus" that the kids, except Rebekah, were a part of. Ethan was a fearless lion and the girls were butterfly ballerinas. Jason even participated in the strongest man competition, but was beaten by a 6 year old boy.

This was an ice skating show that was spectacular. After it was over, Rebekah decided that she wanted to be an ice skater when she grows up-
Aubriawna still wants to be a flying unicorn- she's 6 now, Should I be worried?

SJ couldn't hack it. She talks a big game, but she's not down with the funk of Great America.

This is the water park area of Great America....so much fun.

More rides! The kids had so much fun!

Here we all are at the entrance of Great America with Snoopy.

At hotel
Miriani's in Santa Clara. Day 1
